Review of Brunnerton Lodge And Backpackers in Greymouth:
The only minor inconvenience during my stay was the limited restroom availability.

During my recent business trip to Greymouth, I had the pleasure of staying at Brunnerton Lodge And Backpackers, a place chosen by my very discerning director. The highlight of my stay was the long, relaxing soak in the wood-fired hot tub. After a busy day of meetings, it was the perfect way to unwind and rejuvenate. The natural wood-burning scent added to the tranquillity, making it a truly memorable experience.
The only minor issue I encountered during my stay at Brunnerton Lodge And Backpackers was the humidity in the room.

The hotel had a cozy and charming decor that reminded me of my own home. The lounge area with the fireplace was especially inviting, although I was disappointed that it wasn't lit during my stay. The hotel's general areas were well-kept and accessible for senior people like myself, with easy navigation and comfortable seating. It made me feel right at home and allowed me to relax and enjoy my time at the hotel.
The only thing I would ask for a better vacation for senior people is for the children working there to be more attentive and helpful. Sometimes it was a struggle to get the assistance I needed, and a little more enthusiasm and willingness to assist would have greatly improved my overall experience at the hotel.

The location of this lodge is great, with easy access to the local area. The rooms are equipped with good heating, making it cozy during the colder months. Additionally, the kitchen is fully stocked, providing everything you need for cooking. With free, fast wifi available, you can easily stay connected during your stay.
The shared bathroom, however, could be more spacious, as it can get crowded when multiple guests are using it.

The guest room I stayed in was cozy and comfortable with a double bed and a single bed. It felt like sleeping in a warm embrace. I was lucky enough to have a room with a view of the majestic mountains. Waking up to such a beautiful sight was simply breathtaking. Some units also had a seating area, which was a nice touch. It made me feel right at home and gave me a space to relax and unwind.
Personally, I found the shared bathrooms to be a slight inconvenience. However, I understand that some people might not mind the communal experience and still enjoy it.

Our room had a cozy vibe with a double bed and a single bed, perfect for our family. The view of the mountains from some rooms was stunning, adding to the charming atmosphere. It was nice to have a seating area in some units, providing extra comfort and convenience.
Personally, I would have preferred a private bathroom instead of shared ones.

We had a wonderful stay at this budget-friendly accommodation. The highlight was definitely the warm and welcoming atmosphere created by the owners. They made us feel right at home after a long day of exploring. The cozy wood burner and open fireplace added to the charm of the place. Despite the old property, the rooms were well-heated and the bathrooms were functional. We never had to wait to use them. The owners went above and beyond to ensure our comfort throughout our stay. Despite a few minor drawbacks like thin walls and a lack of shops nearby, I highly recommend this place for its affordable price and the friendly hospitality we experienced. a great choice for those looking for a budget-friendly option in the area.
